Color Inspirations Now, Choosing Colour is Fun and Easy!

TrueValue have created a personal colour selection tool that can be either accessed via the internet or purchased on CD for a more enhanced version.
It allows you to use sample interior and exterior photos to preview how colours from the palettes will look before you paint. After choosing your colors, visit a Histon Hardware and find just what you need for your complete painting project. This tool can be used by DIY entusiasts as well as professional Architects & Interior Designers.

Our Paint Concept

Come and see the new range and take away a brochure that has the unique Peel 'n Place Paint Chips that make it easy to experiment with different colour combinations. The range covers interior, exterior, kitchen and bathroom colours and covers different sheen levels from flat, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and gloss. We also have a display of Idea Cards that will give you some inspiration for decorating your chosen space. We have decided to initially show only the 180 colours that are covered by the Idea Cards and not the complete range which runs into thousands, plus we also have the scanning facilities to match ANY COLOUR !

Preparation

Like many DIY jobs, preparation is the key to success and painting with these revolutionary latex paints is no different. Priming the prepared surfaces ensures a reliable and durable finish so we highly recommend that you do so. Please review the True Value paint web site for the latest preparation and application techniques.

Buying Paints online could not be simpler:-

1. Select your Idea Cards, using the Search facility to group colours and then we'll post them to you!
2. Select either Interior or Exterior Paints from the menu
3. Select your can size - 946ml(1Quart), 3.78l(1Gallon) or 18.9l(5Gallon)
4. Type in your chosen colour - ie. Snow Bush or Yorktown Green
5. Select the appropriate sheen level - flat, eggshell, satin etc.
6. Purchase your item and it will be delivered to you!
